Scout Report
When a nationally-ranked point guard makes the jump from high school standout to college basketball, the adjustment period can be telling about their true potential.
Background
The 6-3 guard from San Antonio, Texas, developed his skills at Brennan High School, where he established himself as one of the premier floor generals in the state. Coming from a basketball hotbed like San Antonio, Flemings competed at the highest levels throughout his prep career and was ranked as the #15 player nationally in the 2025 recruiting class. His recruitment drew interest from major programs across the country, ultimately leading to his commitment and enrollment at Houston.
Playing Style
Flemings possesses the ideal size for a modern point guard at 6-3, allowing him to see over defenses and create mismatches against smaller opponents. His court vision and basketball IQ stand out as his primary assets, consistently making the right reads in transition and half-court sets. While still adjusting to the physicality and pace of college basketball, he shows the ability to control tempo and limit turnovers. His shooting mechanics appear sound, though consistency from beyond the arc will be crucial for his development at the next level.
Recruitment
Now enrolled at Houston under head coach Kelvin Sampson, Flemings has the opportunity to develop within one of the nation's most disciplined and defensively-oriented programs. His high school pedigree and national ranking suggest a high ceiling, and the Cougars' track record of developing guards should provide the perfect environment for his continued growth. The transition from playing alongside other highly-ranked recruits at Brennan to competing in the Big 12 will test his readiness for elite college basketball.

Social Activity
Giving back to the city that means so much to our family! Yesterday, before cheering on Kingston against the Houston Rockets at Toyota Center, Team Flemings Foundation visited Jack Yates High School in Houston to donate Nike basketball shoes to the girls’ and boys’ varsity basketball teams on behalf of Kingston and Bella Flemings. A special thank-you to Nike for helping make this donation possible and to the University of Houston basketball team for donating T-shirts for the student-athletes! Your generosity helped us show these young athletes that they have a community cheering them on. For our family, basketball has always been about more than the game. It’s about opportunity, relationships, and reaching back to support those coming next. We’re grateful to share that spirit with the Yates Lions as they prepare for their season. Keep working, keep believing, and keep showing up for your dreams. We’re rooting for you, Yates! #TeamFlemingsFoundation #nikebasketball #studentathlete #basketball
