Scout Report

The 6-4 shooting guard from Glendale has made the jump from high school standout to college contributor, bringing his versatile skillset to the Pac-12 level.

Background

Holland developed his game in Arizona before landing at Dream City Christian, one of the premier basketball programs in the state. During his prep career, he competed alongside elite talent including top-50 recruits Malachi Jordan and Ikenna Alozie, gaining valuable experience against high-level competition. The Arizona native caught the attention of college coaches with his combination of size, shooting ability, and basketball IQ on the AAU circuit.

Playing Style

Holland brings prototypical size for a modern shooting guard with his 6-4 frame and solid wingspan. His primary strength lies in his ability to stretch the floor with consistent perimeter shooting, making him a valuable spacing threat in offensive sets. He demonstrates good court awareness and can create shots both off the dribble and in catch-and-shoot situations. While his athleticism is solid rather than explosive, Holland compensates with smart positioning and fundamentally sound defensive principles.

Recruitment

Having already enrolled at Colorado, Holland is focused on carving out a role in the Buffaloes' rotation as a freshman. His shooting ability and basketball IQ suggest he could develop into a reliable contributor over his college career, with the potential to become a key piece in Colorado's backcourt by his upperclassman seasons.
