Background
Savage comes out of Marietta, Georgia, one of the more reliable pipelines for guards in the Atlanta metro, and plays his prep ball at Wheeler High School. That's a setting where guards get tested early and often, against athletes who don't care about a recruiting ranking. Public detail on his family and travel-ball path is thin, so the résumé does most of the talking.
