Philipe Ndong hails from Superior, Colorado, a region not typically known as a hoops hotbed, which makes his development at The Newman School all the more intriguing. He's moved into an environment packed with high-level talent, playing alongside Michigan commit Quinn Costello and Illinois commit Lucas Morillo, as well as developing big man Luka Kuqo. This daily competition against and with future college players has been instrumental in his rapid growth, forcing him to adapt and refine his game in ways few other freshmen experience.

Ndong operates with a fluidity that belies his young age and developing frame.
