Haisi Mayben
Uncommitted"6’0 Combo Guard @thebabc @darrowhoops"
Scout Report
Most point guards his age are still figuring out how to run a team, but this 6'2" floor general is already drawing serious D1 attention from multiple conferences.
Background
Haisi Mayben comes out of Darrow School, where he's developed into one of the more intriguing lead guards in the 2026 class. The program has given him the platform to refine his craft against quality competition. His recruitment has been building steadily through grassroots circuits and camp appearances.
Playing Style
Mayben brings ideal size for the point guard position at 6'2", allowing him to see over defenses and finish through contact in the lane. He's got solid court vision and makes good decisions in the pick-and-roll, though he'll need to continue developing his pull-up jumper to keep defenses honest. His length bothers opposing guards defensively, and he uses his frame well to disrupt passing lanes. The key for his continued development will be improving his outside shooting consistency and learning to play with more pace in transition situations.
Recruitment
The recent flurry of offers from Mississippi State, East Carolina, and UMBC within the same three-day window shows his stock is rising quickly. Albany got in early, which often signals they've been tracking him closely through the evaluation process. With two full years left before signing, expect his recruitment to expand significantly if he continues trending upward.
