Scout Report
When a 6-3 shooting guard carries himself with quiet confidence and shows glimpses of something special, college coaches take notice even in the early stages.
Background
Hunter Berry is making his mark at Worcester Academy as a member of the class of 2028. The young shooting guard is navigating the competitive prep school landscape while developing his skills against high-level competition. His journey through the academy system represents a commitment to maximizing his potential during these crucial developmental years.
Playing Style
Berry brings an intriguing combination of size and developing skill set to the shooting guard position. Standing 6-3, he possesses the physical framework that translates well to the next level, with the ability to see over smaller defenders and create matchup problems. Scouting reports highlight his strength as a foundational asset, suggesting he can absorb contact and finish through traffic around the rim. His shooting guard skill set is still evolving, but the early indicators point to a player who understands how to use his physical advantages effectively.
Recruitment
As a 2028 prospect, Berry is still in the early stages of the recruitment process with no reported offers at this time. However, his combination of size, position, and development trajectory at a respected prep program like Worcester Academy suggests that college interest will likely materialize as he continues to mature. The next two years will be crucial for establishing his ceiling and determining which level of college basketball represents the best fit.
