Scout Report
When a 6-4 shooting guard can fill up the stat sheet across multiple categories while locking down defensively, college coaches take notice.
Background
Nick Triolo suits up for Greenwich Country Day School in the affluent Connecticut town of Greenwich. As a Class of 2027 prospect, he's building his reputation on the competitive prep circuit while developing his skills at the foundational level. The young guard is beginning to make waves in showcase events and tournament play as he establishes himself as a name to watch in his class.
Playing Style
Triolo brings a balanced two-way skill set that translates well to the shooting guard position. His ability to knock down shots from the perimeter makes him a legitimate scoring threat, while his defensive instincts and activity level create problems for opposing offenses. At 6-4, he possesses solid size for his position that allows him to guard multiple spots and create mismatches offensively. His court vision and passing ability add another dimension to his game, showing he can facilitate for teammates when the opportunity arises.
Recruitment
As an underclassman, Triolo is still in the early stages of building his recruitment profile with no reported offers at this time. His combination of size, shooting ability, and defensive prowess should generate interest from college programs as he continues to develop. The key will be maintaining his upward trajectory and continuing to showcase his versatility in high-level competition.
Stat Highlight
Triolo demonstrated his all-around impact with an impressive 18-point, 6-assist, 3-steal, 2-rebound performance at the Standout Players ZGPC showcase event.
