Scout Report
When a 5-11 guard already has four D1 offers as a junior, including two from the SEC, you pay attention.
Background
Griffith suits up for Columbus Academy, a private school that's become a pipeline for college talent. He runs with elite company too, sharing the backcourt with Harvard commit Jason Singleton and highly-ranked 2027 prospect Caden Ivery. That level of competition daily should accelerate his development heading into his senior campaign.
Playing Style
At 5-11, Griffith has to play smart and he does exactly that. His court vision jumps off the film, finding teammates in spots other guards miss entirely. He's not going to wow you athletically, but his basketball IQ and decision-making are advanced for his age. The shot selection needs refinement and he'll have to prove he can score consistently against length at the next level, but the fundamentals are there.
Recruitment
Cal, Texas, Texas A&M, and Cornell represent a solid foundation, spanning major conferences and academic prestige. Expect that offer sheet to grow as his senior season unfolds. His ceiling projects as a solid rotation player at the high-major level if everything clicks.
