Head Coach
Tom Espinosa serves as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Putnam Science Academy, where he has been building and leading the program since its inception in 2006. Recognized for his basketball talent from a young age as a junior high school player, Espinosa was tasked with creating something from nothing when he was handed the reins as the program's first head coach. His dedication and leadership have transformed the Mustangs into a competitive force in prep school basketball. Espinosa achieved his most successful season during the 2013-2014 campaign, guiding his team to an impressive 29-5 record and earning a coveted berth in the National Prep School Tournament Championships. This standout season exemplifies his ability to develop young athletes and build winning programs.
