His crowning achievement came in 2006 when he guided DeMatha to the national championship, cementing his legacy among elite high school coaches. Jones' diverse coaching background extends beyond DeMatha, having developed talent at the AAU level with organizations including Virginia Elite 16u, Uncommon Bulls 17u, and a four-year stint with the District Basketball Club 17u program.
