Coach Matt Dunn enters his 25th year as a head basketball coach and his 11th season leading the Braves at St. John Bosco High School. A University of San Diego graduate (1995-1999), Dunn brings exceptional experience and proven success to the program. He owns an impressive career record of 513-210, with 234 of those victories earned at Bosco, and celebrated his milestone 500th career win during the 2024-25 season. Prior to joining St. John Bosco, Dunn spent 12 successful years at Damien High School, where he led the Spartans to 129 wins, a CIF title in 2013, and a state championship with a remarkable 29-5 record and Top 10 state ranking. Under his leadership at Bosco, the program has maintained its status as a nationally ranked powerhouse, consistently developing elite talent and producing state champions. Dunn's coaching philosophy emphasizes leadership development, community outreach, and preparing student-athletes for success both on and off the court.
