Miami Country Day School
Program Scout Report
Overview
Miami Country Day School operates as an independent program on the prep basketball landscape, free from conference affiliation and positioned to build its identity through its own scheduling and competitive choices. The program's independent status gives it flexibility in how it tests its roster against outside competition. Miami Country Day is a name recruiting followers in South Florida and beyond monitor as it continues to attract tracked talent.
Coaching Staff
Detailed information on the program's head coach is not currently available in PrepRadar's records, so a full evaluation of background, philosophy, and career achievements is pending. Evaluators should look to how the staff structures its independent schedule and develops individual players as the clearest indicators of its approach. This profile will be updated as verified coaching details are confirmed.
Player Development
PrepRadar currently tracks seven players on the Miami Country Day roster, which reflects a program with a meaningful pool of evaluated talent. Verified NBA alumni and college placement figures are not yet confirmed in the database, so the program's long-term pipeline is still being documented. The presence of a nationally ranked prospect on the current roster signals that the program develops players capable of drawing recruiting attention.
Culture & Academics
Miami Country Day is an independent school, and further details on its academic profile and facilities are still being compiled. Families and recruits should seek firsthand information through campus visits and direct conversations with the staff.
Recruiting Outlook
Miguel Orbe, a 2027 prospect ranked #116 nationally, headlines the current group and gives the program a clear recruiting centerpiece this cycle. With seven tracked players in total, Miami Country Day offers depth beyond a single headliner, and Orbe's ranking should help raise the program's visibility with college evaluators. The program's trajectory depends on how its roster performs against outside competition and how effectively it converts its talent into college opportunities.
