Program Scout Report

Overview

Moravian Prep operates as an independent program out of North Carolina, carving out a niche outside traditional conference play while building a competitive national profile. The program has steadily drawn attention for its growing stable of ranked prospects across multiple classes.

Coaching Staff

Jeremy Ellis leads the program as head coach, overseeing both roster development and the recruitment of talent across several graduating classes. His presence at the helm, including coaching his own sons on the roster, points to a hands-on, family-invested approach to building the program from the ground up.

Player Development

The program's pipeline currently features five tracked prospects spanning the 2025 through 2028 classes, led by Kmajay Jenkins at the 2028 level and Kohl Rosario and Eli Ellis among the 2025 group. This cross-class depth suggests a developmental model built for sustained competitiveness rather than a single standout class.

Culture & Academics

As an independent program, Moravian Prep has flexibility in scheduling and roster construction that allows it to prioritize individual player development and exposure. The family-driven coaching dynamic, with Jeremy Ellis coaching alongside his sons, lends the program a close-knit, personalized atmosphere.

Recruiting Outlook

Moravian Prep's recruiting outlook centers on a balanced mix of near-term and long-term assets, with Kohl Rosario and Eli Ellis representing immediate 2025 contributors while Isaac Ellis, Marcus Zelee, and Kmajay Jenkins extend the pipeline into 2026 and beyond. The program's trajectory as an independent appears geared toward accumulating ranked talent across classes, positioning it as a developmental destination to watch in the coming recruiting cycles.
