Overview

Harvard Westlake stands as one of the premier independent basketball programs on the West Coast, blending elite academics with a competitive national schedule. The program has established itself as a consistent producer of high-level talent despite operating outside a traditional conference structure.

Coaching Staff

David Rebibo leads the program as head coach, emphasizing player development and preparation for high-major college basketball. His approach centers on building a disciplined system that allows talented prospects to showcase their skills against top competition.

Player Development

The program's pipeline is highlighted by Nikolas Khamenia, a top-20 national prospect in the 2025 class, reflecting the caliber of talent the school continues to cultivate. With Joe Sterling and Pierce Thompson also tracking as ranked prospects in the 2026 and 2027 classes respectively, Harvard Westlake demonstrates sustained depth across multiple recruiting cycles.

Culture & Academics

Harvard Westlake is known for its rigorous academic standards paired with strong athletic infrastructure, creating an environment that appeals to student-athletes seeking both competitive basketball and elite college preparation.

Recruiting Outlook

With a 17-man tracked roster and a top prospect ranked inside the national top 20, the program's current trajectory points toward continued relevance on the national recruiting scene. The presence of ranked underclassmen in Sterling and Thompson suggests the pipeline will remain strong beyond the 2025 cycle, positioning Harvard Westlake as a program college recruiters will continue to monitor closely.
