Program Scout Report

Overview

Seven Lakes competes as an independent program in Texas, a state with one of the deepest and most competitive prep basketball landscapes in the country. Operating outside a conference structure, the program carries a flexible profile that allows it to be measured against a wide range of opponents. The school currently has 16 players tracked on PrepRadar, signaling meaningful visibility among recruiting evaluators.

Coaching Staff

Shannon Heston leads the program as head coach. Detailed background on Heston's career path, coaching philosophy, and accolades is still being compiled, so evaluators should treat this profile as developing. His stewardship of a nationally tracked roster points to a staff capable of attracting and managing high-level talent.

Player Development

Seven Lakes' development pipeline is anchored by Isaiah Santos, a 2027 prospect ranked No. 54 nationally, and Nasir Price, a 2026 prospect ranked No. 240. Having a top-60 player in the 2027 class alongside a ranked senior reflects a program producing prospects across multiple recruiting classes. Verified NBA alumni and college placement data are not yet on file, and will sharpen the picture of the program's long-term track record.

Culture & Academics

Specific details on academics, facilities, and campus environment are not yet available for Seven Lakes. The program's independent status suggests a schedule built around its own competitive goals rather than conference obligations.

Recruiting Outlook

The outlook is encouraging, led by Santos as a high-major-caliber name to monitor throughout the 2027 cycle, with Price offering additional immediate recruiting interest in the 2026 class. A 16-player tracked roster suggests depth that could feed future classes. Continued growth in national rankings and college placements will determine whether Seven Lakes establishes itself as a lasting presence in Texas prep basketball.
