Program Scout Report

Overview

Iowa United Prep operates as an independent program in Iowa, competing outside a traditional conference structure and building its identity through its player pool rather than league affiliation. The program currently tracks six players on its roster, a sign of a focused group built around a handful of nationally ranked prospects. Its independent status gives it flexibility in shaping a schedule and positioning players for exposure.

Coaching Staff

Fran Mc leads the program as head coach, guiding a roster that features a mix of 2026 and 2027 prospects. Detailed background on his career path, coaching philosophy, and prior achievements is not yet available in PrepRadar's records. His ability to attract and retain top-ranked talent at an independent program is the clearest indicator of his standing at this stage.

Player Development

The program's development case currently rests on the caliber of its present roster, led by 2026 forward-class standout Arafan Diane, ranked #25 nationally. Godson Okokoh (2027, #103), Avery Huston (2027, #148), Mading Kuany (2026, #193), and Jordan Sigmon (2026, #235) give the group depth across two classes. A verified record of NBA alumni and college placements is not yet established in available data, so the program's pipeline will be defined by how these prospects fare in the coming cycles.

Culture & Academics

Iowa United Prep is based in Iowa, and specific details on its academic structure and facilities are not yet documented. The compact roster suggests a close-knit environment where individual attention is feasible.

Recruiting Outlook

The talent base is strong at the top, with Diane firmly in the national top 25 and four additional ranked prospects spanning the 2026 and 2027 classes. The presence of multiple 2027 players, including Okokoh and Huston, provides continuity beyond the current senior group. If the program sustains this level of recruiting and adds postseason or national-circuit visibility, its trajectory points upward as a growing destination for ranked talent in the Midwest.
