Program Scout Report

Overview

Cross Creek represents an emerging program on the Georgia prep basketball landscape, competing as an independent to forge a flexible and challenging schedule. With a lean but closely tracked roster, the program is building its regional and national profile through targeted player development rather than sheer volume.

Coaching Staff

Head coach Lawrence Kelly leads the Cross Creek program, overseeing day-to-day development and the long-term direction of the roster. As the program's independent status suggests, Kelly has latitude to shape a schedule and system tailored to his personnel and developmental priorities.

Player Development

Cross Creek's development pipeline is still taking shape, with a compact eight-player tracked roster that allows for individualized attention and coaching focus. The program's trajectory will be defined in large part by how it cultivates and showcases its top-end talent moving forward.

Culture & Academics

Operating out of Georgia, Cross Creek offers a close-knit program environment where a smaller roster size allows for tighter coach-to-player relationships and a more personalized developmental approach.

Recruiting Outlook

The headline name in Cross Creek's current class is Frashad Tisby, a 2027 prospect wearing #99, who stands as the program's top tracked recruit and a key building block for its future. As an independent program, Cross Creek will look to leverage its scheduling flexibility to continue attracting and developing talent, with Tisby's progression likely to serve as a bellwether for the program's rising profile.
