Brooks holds teaching credentials and a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Physical Education from CSU Los Angeles and Bakersfield. His coaching experience spans over two decades at Pasadena High School, including 17 years as an assistant coach under Coach Tucker and an additional five years under previous coach Bill Duwe before ascending to the head coaching position. Under his leadership, the basketball program has demonstrated strong competitive performance, posting a 19-8 overall record and an impressive 8-1 league record.
